When her grandmother mysteriously dies, cardiac surgery resident Ren Metcalfe must return to her hometown and the fatal regret she left behind. In efforts to keep avoiding her past (and her overbearing mother), Ren follows the rumors that her grandmother was the latest victim of a nursing home serial killer, but those rumors arrive from the reliably unreliable residents of the nursing home.   

As clues reveal her grandmother may not have been the first victim, and another mysterious death proves she isn’t the last, Ren races against the clock (and her mother’s meddling) to discover the killer, but what and whom she finds will challenge Ren’s notions of life and everything we do to sustain it.
